Royal Caribbean Group Helps Bring The Great American Road Trip to Life

Royal Caribbean Group has been named a national sponsor of The Great American Road Trip, a nationwide storytelling initiative celebrating America’s 250th birthday through travel and connection.
Launched in 2025, The Great American Road Trip highlights the people, destinations, and innovations that shape the American experience. Through curated routes, event stops, and digital content, the initiative invites travelers to rediscover the stories and communities that define the country.

“Travel has always played a powerful role in bringing people together,” said Tori Barnes, Executive Director of The Great American Road Trip. “Royal Caribbean Group shares our belief in the value of exploration and connection, and this partnership helps spotlight the journeys — by land and by sea — that have shaped America’s past and will inspire its future.”

As a national sponsor, the Group will appear at select Road Trip stops through cobranded experiences and storytelling moments that celebrate adventure, innovation, and the joy of travel — values deeply rooted in Royal Caribbean Group’s own offerings. With the most innovative ships at sea, a portfolio of brands – Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea – that deliver adventure for every type of traveler, and award-winning private destinations that exemplify the pure joy of exploration, the Group brings these themes to life for millions of guests each year.

This partnership further reinforces Royal Caribbean Group’s position as a global vacation leader — showing how their commitment to innovation, destination leadership, and unmatched guest experiences naturally extends beyond the ocean. As The Great American Road Trip reconnects travelers with the places and stories that shape the nation, the Group's involvement spotlights the role they play in inspiring exploration on a worldwide scale.

From visiting more than 1,000 destinations worldwide, including iconic U.S. regions such as Alaska, the Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, New York, and Key West in 2025; across 15 U.S. homeports and 35 domestic ports of call, to the more than 9.4 million vacations delivered across their three brands, the Group's presence in this initiative underscores the breadth, depth, and impact of delivering the best vacations responsibly.
