Royal Caribbean Group doesn’t just deliver the best cruise experiences at sea – the company also has a growing portfolio of the best private destination experiences. Beginning in 1996 in Labadee, Haiti, the company’s private destination concept took a big leap forward with the celebrated Perfect Day at CocoCay opening in the Bahamas in May 2019. Today, its rapidly expanding portfolio of private destinations is just one of the ways that Royal Caribbean Group is innovating for tomorrow and turning the vacation of a lifetime into a lifetime of vacations for guests.

The Royal Beach Club Cozumel, Mexico

Putting its newest beach club on the map, Royal Beach Club Cozumel will be the second addition to the Royal Beach Club collection, set to debut in 2026.

Featuring striking beaches, sun-filled activities and expansive pools for every vibe, Royal Beach Club Cozumel will welcome vacationers for their ultimate beach day in Mexico, complete with the company’s signature attention to detail across all aspects. Guests will enjoy a combination of experiences from kicking back in the ultimate relaxation paradise, to swim-up bars, dedicated pools for relaxation and families, private cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking and more. And for a taste of Mexico and quintessential beach day favorites, Royal is bringing a variety of dining spots, bars, lounges, and flavors to the table – from a street market inspired by authentic Mexican bites to hands on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes.

The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island, The Bahamas

The company is officially moving ahead with the development of the Royal Beach Club: Paradise Island, crafted in close collaboration with the Bahamian government. This new project will feature an unprecedented public-private partnership in tourism where Bahamians will be invited to offer up to 49% equity. Local businesses and entrepreneurs will also have the opportunity to manage the vast majority of the project, generating hundreds of jobs across its construction and long-term operation.

The 17-acre destination experience coming to the western end of Paradise Island near Nassau, The Bahamas, will combine the island’s striking beaches with the cruise line’s signature experiences to create the ultimate beach day – The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. Alongside private cabanas, stunning pools and more, the vibrant Bahamian spirit and culture will come to life throughout the world-class experience. Vacationers and Bahamians will be welcomed by local architecture that complements the exceptional views of The Bahamas’ turquoise-blue waters and white sand beaches, along with experiences that feature Bahamian fare.

Labadee, Haiti

A longtime favorite of Royal Caribbean Group guests, Labadee is a 260-acre wooded peninsula in Pointe Ste. Honore. The peninsula has been restored since the days of buccaneers in the 1400s to a lush beachside paradise with fun for all ages. With five distinct neighborhoods – Adrenaline Beach, Columbus Cove, Buccaneer’s Bay, Nellie’s Beach, and Labadee Town Square – the island is brimming with action-packed variety and opportunity. Highlights on the island include:

  • The Dragon’s Breath Flight Line, which at 2,600 feet is the longest zip line in the world over water, giving guests a rush while soaring 500 feet above the beaches of Labadee
  • Dragon’s Tail Coaster – a thrilling high-speed ride through 2,232 feet of the destination’s tropical flora and rock formations
  • The heart-racing Dragon’s Splash Waterslide, an exciting 300-foot-long saltwater slide
  • Arawak Aqua Park, which features floating trampolines, inflatable iceberg shaped slides, water seesaws and more

Labadee also offers water activities like snorkeling and kayak adventures, floating beach mats, banana boat rides and more. With all this action and such a lush landscape, it is easy to see why this is a fan favorite for Caribbean travelers.
